About the Role

As a Fuel Cell Technician-Engineer, you will play a vital role in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of our fuel cell systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our products. This position requires a strong technical background in fuel cell technology, hands-on experience with assembly and testing, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fuel cell systems and components according to established procedures and engineering specifications.
• Conduct functional testing, performance evaluations, and quality control checks on fuel cell prototypes and production units.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities on fuel cell systems to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with the mechanical engineering team to optimize system performance, efficiency, and durability.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment and instruments for fuel cell testing and analysis.
• Collect, analyse, and document data from testing and performance evaluations.
• Support the development and implementation of new testing procedures and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on product design and manufacturing processes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in fuel cell technology and industry trends.

Requirements

Essential Knowledge/ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Fuel Cell Technician or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of fuel cell systems.

• Solid understanding of fuel cell technology, including stack assembly, balance of plant components, and associated systems.

• Proficiency in performing functional testing, performance evaluation, and quality control checks on fuel

cell systems.

• Familiarity with specialized tools and equipment used in fuel cell assembly and testing.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in fuel cell systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow engineering specifications and procedures.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable Knowledge/ Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

• Relevant certifications or vocational training in fuel cell technology are a plus.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to fuel cell systems.

• Passion for clean energy technologies and a commitment to sustainability.
