About the Role

As a Senior Testing Engineer specialising in fuel cells, you will play a crucial role in leading the testing and
validation activities of our fuel cell systems. You will be responsible for developing and implementing
comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of our products. This role requires extensive knowledge of fuel cell technology, testing methodologies, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the testing and validation activities for fuel cell systems, ensuring adherence to industry
standards and project requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, protocols, and procedures for various types of testing, including
performance, durability, environmental, and safety testing.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation, providing insights and recommendations for system
performance improvement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, R&D, and quality assurance,
to address testing-related challenges and optimise system performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in fuel cell testing techniques, methodologies, and industry
best practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior testing engineers, fostering their professional growth and
development.
• Prepare comprehensive testing reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment within the testing
facility.

Requirements

Essential Knowledge/ Qualifications


• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. PhD’s degree is

desirable.

• Extensive experience in fuel cell testing, preferably in a senior or lead role.

• Strong technical knowledge of fuel cell systems, including stack performance, durability, and safety

testing.

• Proficiency in using testing equipment and software, such as electrochemical analysers, gas analysers, and

data acquisition systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw

meaningful conclusions.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and

external partners.


Desirable Knowledge/ Qualifications


• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to fuel cell testing, such as ISO 14687 and SAE J2600.

• Project management experience, including managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.

• Knowledge of quality control principles and methodologies.

• Passion for clean energy technologies and a commitment to sustainability.
