The University of St. Andrews is one of the leading UK universities in fuel cell development. ZEM is partnering with the University of St. Andrews on the development of various fuel cell and electrolysis technologies to contribute to creating a zero-emissions maritime environment.
SeaKing Group was founded in 2001 to provide a comprehensive range of electrical solutions to the marine, industrial, commercial, military, and offshore sectors. For over 20 years, the group has completed projects in various parts of the world. ZEM Fuel Systems is collaborating with SeaKing to develop the electrical systems for the ammonia fuel cell integration in sea vessels and cold ironing.
Eyemouth Marine is a historic boat yard in Eyemouth Harbour on Scotland's south-east coast offering comprehensive facilities for commercial and leisure vessels. Eyemouth Marine is a one stop shop for expert boat servicing and maintenance. ZEM Fuel Systems is collaborating with Eyemouth Marine to demonstrate its ammonia fuel cell system for cold ironing in 2025.
For over 50 years, the Port of Cromarty Firth has taken advantage of the Cromarty Firth’s naturally-sheltered, deep waters to welcome vessels of all sizes. The Port is known to be home for innovators in offshore wind and green hydrogen. ZEM Fuel Systems is collaborating with the Port of Cromarty Firth to demonstrate its ammonia fuel cell system for cold ironing in 2025.
