Brian Walker and Yunjie Jia join ZEM Fuel Systems Team

ZEM Fuel Systems welcomes Brian Walker and Yunjie Jia to the team. Brian Walker has joined ZEM as an Electrical Technician while Yunjie Jia joined as a Technologist.

Brian brings over 30 years of experience from his previous role as a Senior Electronics Technical Specialist at St Andrews University’s Chemistry Department. He also brings a broad range of technical and industrial experience with him, having also worked as an Engineer for Ferranti, Marconi, and GPT.

Brian added “I am delighted to join ZEM Fuel Systems. With over 40 years technical experience, I look forward to contributing to ZEMs aims to develop and commercialise fuel cells to decarbonise the maritime industry.”

Yunjie Jia is a Surface Engineering Technologist with over 5 years of experience, including 2 years in the fuel cell industry. He specialises in the design, testing, and scaling of flat-tubular fuel cell assemblies.

Yunjie’s commented: “I am very excited to Join ZEM. I believe my technical skills and expertise will contribute significantly to ZEM’s ambitious expansion in the fuel cell technologies.”
